Hearing Voices: Storytelling Festival comes to Cedar Mill Community Library

by Dawn Anderson

On Sunday, April 1, 2-4 pm, Alton Chung will present a Family Storytelling Techniques workshop (pre-festival) at the library. Learn how to tell stories in a family setting – from family history to folk and fairy tales – to pass them along to future generations. Designed for ages 7 to adult. No registration required. (

Then on Monday, April 16 at 4 pm, Lawrence Howard & Lynne Duddy as StoryHarmonics will visit the library to enchant us with their stories. They are extraordinary narrative artists whose voices weave a tapestry of tales that delight the ear and lift the heart. Their infectious energy brings stories alive.

StoryHarmonics in action
