Cedar Mill Heritage Center meeting!

Friday, June 23, 2017, 11 am-12:30 pm
Cedar Mill News office: 12505 NW Cornell, Ste 4
(NW corner of the old shopping center at the NE corner of Saltzman & Cornell)

We are excited to announce that we are preparing to open the Cedar Mill Heritage Center in the big front room of the new Cedar Mill News office.

We will create our first display using the Cedar Mill History photo collection, along with a few artifacts that have been collected.

This meeting is to plan the display and create a work plan to get it done. We’ll also discuss future plans and fundraising ideas.

We’re hoping to hold regular, third-Friday meetings around lunchtime. If that works for you, please add it to your calendar, even if you can’t make this first meeting! Lunch will be provided for this meeting.

Please RSVP to cedarmillhistory@gmail.com so we know how much lunch to bring!

Cedar Mill History book

These pages contain excerpts from the book, "Cedar Mill History" by Linda S. Dodds and Nancy A. Olson. The book is out of print, but copies are available at the Cedar Mill library, and occasionally at Powell's.

We're also including stories contributed by Cedar Mill residents about their memories. If you have a story, or know someone who does, please email us.

The Cedar Mill Historical Society is a 501(c)3 charitable organization formed to further the preservation and education about our community's past. Visit the Cedar Mill History Project for some ideas on how we can do this, and email us if you'd like more information: info@cedarmillhistory.org.
